TRG 22 A1 & 42 A1 represent the latest evolution of the TRG rifle family. Maintaining the tried and trusted core of SAKO TRG, the new A1 takes inspiration from the TRG M10, bringing enhanced features to Sako’s single caliber sniper platform. The rifle features folding stock, M-LOK fore-end and full aluminium chassis to answer the requirements of the most demanding modern tactical operators. The TRG 22/42 A1 chassis system enables mounting of various accessories and optical devices, creating a state-of- the-art sniper weapon system. Weapon configurations can be tailored to customer specifications fulfilling the most demanding operational requirements. Sako TRG 22/42 A1 is a modern, modular and highly accurate single caliber, bolt action sniper rifle with no compromise. Rapid adjustments and modularity of the Sako TRG 22/42 A1 enables personalization and easily transforms the weapon from one operator preference to another. The picatinny rail on the receivcer provides a solid platform for day scope mounting and ITRS for NVD, LAD and other accessories. Cheek piece and length of pull are adjustable with spacers.

All adjustments can be done quickly without using any tools. The stock can also be securely locked down when required.
The TRG 22/42 A1 is dotted of a cold hammer forged steel barrel with phosphatized external surface treatment for extreme durability.
Provides more customisation possibilities, taking advantage of the M-LOK system. More room for comfortable accessories, and a long sight radius less weight and pressure. Accuracy is improved.
The TRG 42 2013 update introduced new double plungers. These make frequent cartridge ejection even more seamless.
