The Sako ARG is engineered to meet the diverse needs of military and law enforcement units worldwide. It offers unparalleled versatility with two distinct operating systems: short-stroke gas piston and direct impingement. The gas piston system is ideal for harsh environments, ensuring reliable performance even with minimal maintenance. It reduces carbon buildup and heat transfer to the bolt carrier group, enhancing the rifle's longevity and reliability in extreme conditions. On the other hand, the direct impingement system is perfect for standard operational environments, providing a lighter and more streamlined design. It offers refined accuracy and a smoother shooting experience, making it a valued option for tactical engagements

True ambidextrous controls ensure seamless operation for both left-handed and right-handed users. This feature includes ambidextrous safety selectors, magazine releases, and bolt catch mechanisms, allowing for intuitive and efficient handling regardless of the user's dominant hand. The ergonomic design ensures that all critical functions can be accessed and operated with ease, enhancing the rifle's usability and effectiveness in high-stress situations.
