Our environmental responsibility is rooted in lifecycle thinking, responsible use of natural resources, and the systematic measurement and continuous improvement of environmental impacts across our entire value chain.

Our environmental work is guided by an environmental policy approved by the management team.
Climate and emissions
We measure our greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1–3) and are progressively refining our calculations for greater accuracy.
The majority of our emissions arise within the value chain, which is why our reduction efforts target both our own operations and our supply chain.
During 2026, we will develop an emissions reduction plan to guide our climate work towards science-based targets.
Energy use and energy efficiency
Energy efficiency is a core part of our environmental strategy.
We are committed to the technology industry's energy efficiency agreement and have launched a new agreement period (2026–2035), with a long-term goal of reducing energy consumption.
Our energy efficiency work is guided by a dedicated roadmap, which includes:
Transitioning to fossil-free energy
Energy efficiency investments in production facilities
Developing heat recovery
Developing an energy efficiency management system
This work advances in phases and is an integral part of our ongoing development of production.
Resource efficiency and circular economy
Our products are built to last — longevity and repairability are at the heart of our approach to environmental responsibility.
We continuously work to improve material efficiency, increase recycling and strengthen our waste management practices.
Environmental risk management
We manage chemicals, wastewater, and hazardous waste through clearly defined processes. Environmental observations are monitored closely, and any deviations are addressed systematically.
Supply chain
Since a significant share of our environmental impacts arises within the supply chain, we are actively developing supplier collaboration and emissions data collection.
Our goal is to increase transparency and identify the most impactful areas for emissions reduction.
Alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals
The most material topics of our environmental responsibility are connected to UN Sustainable Development Goals 12: Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns, 13: Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts, and 15: Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems.
